Your first journey

Select a working source
On Mac, choose System Audio, the microphone, or a compatible Core Audio input. On iPhone and iPad, use the built-in microphone or compatible USB-C audio.

Allow only what that source needs
Microphone input requests Microphone access. System Audio on Mac uses Screen & System Audio Recording. You can explore and control visuals without granting audio permission.

Watch the attached meter
Play music and confirm the bars beside the Kamilovision wordmark respond. The meter shows processed analyzer energy—it confirms a healthy response, but it is not a clipping gauge or public BPM readout.

Enter a visual
Begin with Adaptive, choose a world directly, or use Next. Give the world time: each one has a longer authored journey beyond its opening frame.

Fill the screen
Use landscape fullscreen on the device, or connect a compatible television, projector, or external display for clean audience output.
Understanding audio response
First make the input healthy. Then shape the feeling.

The controls are deliberately separate
- Automatic Level
- Continuously balances varying inputs. Leave it on unless you are solving a specific response problem.
- Input Sensitivity
- Changes the signal before analysis. Raise it when the attached meter barely moves; lower it when the response remains saturated.
- Global Intensity
- Changes how strongly every visual responds after analysis. It does not repair an input that is too quiet or overloaded.
- Impact
- Emphasizes drops, attacks, and other transients without simply making all continuous motion stronger.
Built-in microphone: −6 dB. USB-C, direct, or system input: 0 dB. Global Intensity: 70%. Impact: 65%. Automatic Level: On. Use Defaults restores these values without changing scene-specific creative work.

Why mobile cannot listen directly to Apple Music
iOS and iPadOS do not provide another app’s protected internal playback to Kamilovision. Play through speakers and let the microphone listen to the room, or connect a compatible class-compliant USB-C audio interface. A wired direct input is the most consistent choice for DJs, musicians, and loud rooms.
Playback modes and the Live Set
Decide who directs the journey.
Adaptive
Chooses and times visual journeys using the music, recent performance history, variety, and transition fit. It can wait when no active music is detected.
Ordered
Follows enabled visuals from top to bottom and wraps to the beginning. Changes remain musically timed rather than occurring on a fixed stopwatch.
Hold
Keeps the current world playing and cycling until you choose another. Hold does not freeze its internal journey.
Pause Session
Holds the exact frame and suspends rendering and audio analysis. Resume continues from that frame.
Build the Live Set
Enable or disable worlds to decide what Adaptive, Ordered, and Next may use. Drag the handle to change the order. At least one visual must remain enabled, and your choices are stored locally on that device.
- Next always follows enabled Live Set order, even while Adaptive is selected.
- LIVE identifies the Standard or Custom choice currently being rendered.
- STANDARD appears only when it helps distinguish a protected Standard Visual from one or more Custom alternatives.
- A Custom Visual appears under the name you gave it.
Freeze, Visuals Off, and Pause Session
Three holds with three different purposes.

Use Freeze as a live performance cue, Visuals Off when the audience should see black, and Pause Session when you are taking a break and want to reduce sustained work without losing your place.
Rendering settings
Leave these settings on Automatic unless you are solving a specific performance or output problem.
- Composition Framing
- Automatic chooses the appropriate canvas. Preserve 4:3 and Preserve 16:9 protect a chosen authored frame inside outputs of other shapes.
- Internal Resolution
- Controls how many expensive pixels the world renders. Lowering it does not remove authored particles, lighting, choreography, or HDR treatment.
- Reconstruction
- Converts the internal image to output resolution. MetalFX Spatial is the normal path; MetalFX Temporal is experimental. Sharp Spatial is the fallback where MetalFX is unavailable.
- Rendering Strategy
- Fixed follows the selected rate. Adaptive 60 protects a 60 Hz target by varying internal work. Hybrid 30 → 60 keeps presentation responsive while expensive world updates run at 30 Hz.
- Simulation Fidelity
- Controls simulation detail independently of pixel resolution. The most demanding level can substantially increase sustained load.
- Current Configuration
- Reports what is actually running. Automatic adaptation can make it differ from the maximum you requested.
Native resolution is not automatically the best-looking choice at normal viewing distance. A reconstructed image can preserve the authored scene while using less power and maintaining smoother motion. Reset Rendering restores the recommended automatic configuration.
Custom Visuals
Experiment without damaging the original.
Every built-in world begins as a protected Standard Visual. A Custom Visual stores your scene-specific Audio Reactivity, Visual, Effects, and media-layer choices. You can save multiple named variations for one world; Adaptive and Ordered use the variation currently selected for that world.
- Select a Standard Visual and choose Create Custom Visual.
- Adjust Audio Reactivity, Visual, and Effects controls for that world.
- Choose Update Custom Visual on Mac when you want to preserve edits. Mobile changes are generally persisted immediately.
- Use Save As for another variation, then Rename or Duplicate as needed.
- Reset Visual restores that world’s authored parameters without changing global audio response.
- Delete Custom Visual removes only the saved variation; the Standard Visual remains protected.
Custom Visuals and imported media stay on the device. They do not cloud-sync, and Kamilovision does not currently provide a library export or backup workflow. Removing the app or its data can remove that work.
Images and GIF layers
Place your own motion inside a living world.
Save a Custom Visual before adding media. The production visualization remains the locked base; you can place up to five local image or animated-GIF layers above it. The list runs front to back: the top item appears in front.
- Move, scale, rotate, change opacity, and reorder every imported layer.
- Choose Normal, Screen, Add, or Multiply blend on every platform. Mac also includes Overlay.
- Map Full Mix, Bass, Mids, Highs, or Beat to supported properties such as size, opacity, motion, rotation, and playback speed.
- For GIFs, Play/Pause affects only that layer. Loop, Reverse, and Playback Speed are saved with the Custom Visual.
- Mac adds crop edges, Original/Fit/Fill/Stretch sizing, GIF in/out points, and up to 100 in-session undo/redo steps.
- iPhone and iPad use direct drag, pinch, and rotation gestures; crop, sizing mode, in/out points, Overlay, and undo/redo are not currently mobile controls.

Mac accepts PNG, JPEG, TIFF, HEIF/HEIC, WebP, BMP, and GIF through the file picker. Mobile imports selected still images and animated GIFs through the Photos picker. Oversized media is rejected with an explanation rather than silently uploaded or transformed.
Displays and output
Keep control here. Put the world over there.
Dedicated audience output sends a clean visualization to a compatible external display while the controls, attached meter, library, and customization interface remain on the controller device. Fullscreen removes controls. On mobile, connecting HDMI while fullscreen is active moves production rendering to the audience display and returns the device to its controller interface.
AirPlay Screen Mirroring
Choose Screen Mirroring from Control Center on Mac, iPhone, or iPad. It is the convenient wireless path, but it mirrors the device interface and delay varies with the network and receiver.
Wired audience output
Use a compatible USB-C or HDMI connection for the lowest and most consistent display delay. The device, adapter or dock, cable, and display input must all support the requested mode.
About 4K at 60 Hz
A hub labeled only “4K” may provide 30 Hz. Look for an explicit 4K60 specification, then confirm the complete signal path. A 4K60-capable dock cannot make an older device or display input provide that mode. If one hub must handle HDMI, USB audio, and charging, use a powered model with suitable power delivery and data bandwidth.
Mac audience output includes Fit, Fill, and Stretch. Actual resolution, refresh rate, and HDR/EDR behavior depend on the device and complete display path; Kamilovision does not guarantee 4K60 or identical color on every setup.
Heat, battery, and performance
Real-time worlds are sustained graphics work.
A warm device is normal during extended rendering. Begin with Automatic settings. Native internal resolution, Fixed rendering, the highest Simulation Fidelity, and external 4K output can increase GPU load, heat, and battery use.
- Use Pause Session when the show is not active.
- Connect power for a long session and improve airflow around the device.
- Remove a heavy insulating case if the device becomes unusually warm.
- Close other demanding apps, lower Internal Resolution, or reduce Simulation Fidelity.
- iPhone or iPad may temporarily slow or stop charging when the system becomes too warm.
Accessibility, safety, and diagnostics
Use the controls as aids—not guarantees.
Kamilovision contains rapidly changing, high-contrast, and flashing imagery whose intensity varies with the selected visual and music. People with photosensitivity should use caution.
- Reduce Interface Motion on Mac reduces interface transitions, not the visual worlds’ authored choreography.
- Limit Intense Flashes on Mac reduces peak highlight and EDR intensity but cannot guarantee photosensitive safety.
- These explicit controls are not currently available across the full iPhone/iPad interface, so Support does not claim mobile parity.
Export Diagnostics on Mac
Export Diagnostics creates a JSON file on your Mac; it is never uploaded automatically. It can contain the app version, timestamps, session and renderer events, failures, and—when internal diagnostic flags are enabled—derived music and timing measurements. It contains no raw audio or image/GIF contents, though an error string may include a device or source name. Inspect it before manually attaching it to a support request if you are concerned.

Troubleshooting
Start with the signal, then the workload.
The attached meter does not move
Confirm the selected source, play audible music, and check the corresponding permission. On USB audio, reconnect the interface before reopening the source picker. On mobile, music playing inside another app is not an available source.
Adaptive says it is waiting
Adaptive waits when it does not detect active music. Confirm that the attached meter responds, use the recommended defaults, and increase Input Sensitivity only if the meter remains quiet. Choose Hold if you want the current world to continue without automatic replacement.
The image feels restrained or frantic
If the meter looks healthy, change Global Intensity. Adjust Impact separately for attacks and drops. Then refine scene-specific response; do not use Input Sensitivity as a substitute for creative intensity.
The external screen is blank or mirrored incorrectly
Reconnect the adapter, confirm the operating system recognizes the display, and select it again. On Mac, use an extended audience display for clean dedicated output. Screen Mirroring is a separate wireless workflow.
The device becomes hot or loses frames
Return rendering to Automatic, lower Internal Resolution or Simulation Fidelity, connect power, improve airflow, and close demanding apps. Use Pause Session during breaks.
A GIF control is missing
Confirm that you are editing a saved Custom Visual and that the intended layer is selected. Crop, sizing mode, GIF in/out points, Overlay blend, and undo/redo are currently Mac-only controls.
